Backed with extensive funding from a top-tier Spanish Venture Capital firm, the company is well-established at the forefront of this fascinating and highly-specialised technological field and has exciting plans to consolidate further growth in a genuinely international context. A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Controller whose mission will be to manage and control the company's economic resources, ensuring optimum cost, liquidity, and profit value and security conditions. The Financial Controller will also develop and control internal procedures establishing clear and efficient lines of communication of financial information to company management. Reporting directly to the CEO , the role will involve: - Supervision of the financial strategy of the company: accounting, monthly closes and reporting to CEO and/or Board of Directors - Management control: budgeting, analysis and financial projections - Funding: establish additional lines of funding for the company including subsidies, participative loans, awards and/or bank funding - Control and Supervision of the HR, Legal and Fiscal Areas (with the support of external Consultants) - Negotiation with banks, suppliers and clients - Design and implementation of administrative processes to guarantee the correct execution of the policies and procedures of the company. Candidates should have: - A degree in Business Administration or similar (a Finance or similar Masters would be especially advantageous) - 2 years' experience in a similar position, and previous experience in a Big Four Auditing Company - Fluency in English - Excellent communication skills, a flexible, team-oriented and organised work approach, paying special attention to detail and order. Candidates should have a global outlook to company processes and the ability to focus their activity in the context of the aims of the organisation.
