Our client is a leading player in internet services, providing on-line shopping solutions for a wide range of internationally-renowned retail clients. Based out of Barcelona, the company’s Global Commerce division is building and growing business on an international scale, achieving exceptional returns in an exciting and expanding marketplace. The company is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide complex administrative support to its Global Commerce Presidency office. For candidates with drive, dedication and a great attitude, the role promises motivating challenges in the following areas: • Independently providing administrative support for the Executive Vice President and other senior members of the team • Managing scheduling of meetings and maintaining calendars • Scheduling business trips, including both domestic and international travel • Proactively handling area-specific communications (phone calls and emails) and preparing a wide range of documentation: proposals, reports, presentations, meeting minutes and correspondence - on behalf of the EVP and the team • Diplomatically interacting with Senior Management, client partners, internal customers and suppliers • Handling confidential information and all other matters with professionalism, tact and discretion • Following up and fully resolving all owned tasks with faultless prioritisation Specific Requirements for the role: • At least ten years’ experience including supporting executive-level management teams • Complete fluency in English and Spanish. (French and German desirable, but not essential) • Confidence and poise under pressure and simultaneous-priority management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent organisational skills and outstanding detail-orientation • Strong working knowledge of MS Office • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Discreet and reliable approach to processing confidential material The company offers a competitive package and the opportunity to join a highly professional, motivated and successful team.
