After having spoken to lots of parents and parents-to-be, we decided it would be a good (and well overdue) idea if we all clubbed together to provide an information site for kids (of all ages) here in Barcelona and surrounding areas. All help (however irrelevant you feel it might be) - anything from your local organic grocer, favourite fancy dress shop to nanny services and international schools - would be much appreciated by us and all other mums! If that's not enough, not only will you get a BIG thank you on the site but Lulu who runs `Mujer' (el Born´s funkiest clothes and products shop for mums and babies) has agreed to donate gift vouchers to 3 random respondents! We really want to build a support site for mums, written and recommended exclusively by other mums. For those who find it a bit easier we have written a few possible areas below but feel free just to respond with any information you may have. We would be really grateful if you could devote 15 minutes of your day helping out with this and really appreciate it if you could get your responses back to us by the end of the week J. If you have any friends that may be able to provide some information then please do forward this email on. 1) Activities (e.g. sports, restaurants and ludotecas as well as groups, art & drama classes, children's entertainers/party organizers, meetups, swimming, yoga, massage etc) 2) Venues & daytrips (e.g. Zoo, Aquarium, funfairs, beaches, aqua parks etc) 3) Shops & Products - (including online from Spain and rest of Europe). Has there been one children's product you have discovered which you couldn't live without? 4) Services (doctors, dentists, chiropodists, alternative medicine, opticians, shoe measuring service, child psychologists, chiropractors, private tutors, baby signing, banks etc) 5) Education - Nurseries, schools, crèches and childcare. 6) Baby sitting services 7) And also - what would you really like to see here for parents and kids?
