I run a summer internship program for University students, finding them jobs, place to live and organizing weekend excursions as well as weekly business seminars for them. My purpose for networking, therefore, would be in hopes of finding exciting small or large businesses that could provide a good learning experience for a very qualified student interested in their industry. The benefit for the employer is that they would have an energetic, eager student collaborating with them on any project they may have for the summer completely free of charge.
