The American Society of Barcelona strives to be the focal point for people who are interested in developing and maintaining business and social relationships with each other in an international environment. The Society functions as a non-political and non-profit organization.The organization provides a variety of gatherings throughout the year such as business luncheons cultural outings traditional American and local events and celebrations informative speeches and much more.Founded in 1974 by a group of American businessmen the Society was established for the purpose of enhancing social contacts among themselves in the Barcelona area. Since then the Society has grown thrived and evolved due to the diversity of its members. Many of which are engaged in a variety of professions as well as expatriates individuals and families.
